Job Description

Ensuring that holding tanks are cleaned and maintained in a serviceable condition using the necessary CIP equipment, chemicals and processesEnsuring that there is no dirt or contamination left in the holding tanks that could possibly affect any batches stored in the relevant holding tanksEnsuring that holding tanks are completely sanitizedEnsuring that the correct CIP solutions and procedures are used.Ensuring that the holding tanks are cleaned and timeously ready to meet manufacturing requirements as per the set scheduleEnsuring all cleaning and sanitization documents for holding tanks are completed correctly, in full and neatlyEnsuring that the wash bay environment is kept in a perfectly clean and organized mannerEnsuring any valves, pipes and components of the holding tanks are cleaned using proper CIP proceduresEnsuring that all components like valves, seals and so on, are stored in a proper manner-Ensuring that the manufacturing vessels are cleaned and maintained in a serviceable condition using the necessary CIP equipment, chemicals and processes.Ensuring that there is no dirt or contamination left in the manufacturing vessels that could possibly affect any batches producedEnsuring that the manufacturing vessels are completely sanitized.Ensuring that the correct CIP solutions and procedures are used to clean the relevant manufacturing vesselsEnsuring that the manufacturing vessels are cleaned timeously, to meet manufacturing requirements as per the set scheduleEnsuring that all valves, pipes and components of the manufacturing vessels are cleaned properly as per CIP proceduresEnsure that the whole manufacturing environment is kept in a perfectly clean and organized mannerNever risk damage to machinery or injury to individuals.Dispensing of raw materialsStrictly adhere to all SOPs when dispensing raw materials for productionFollow procedures when entering stock in and out of raw material storesRaise any stock shortages or problems with raw materials proactively to the Team Leader in chargeReport any quality risks and deviationsEnsure good communication at all times with the Team Leader and Chemist in chargeNever risk damage to equipment or injury to individualsResponsible for accurate weighing off raw materials and ensure that the correct raw materials are weighed according to the manufacturing job cardComplete the paperwork for each batch weighed in an honest, accurate and clear mannerMaintaining proper housekeeping of raw material storeroom and dispensing room, before, during and after dispensing of raw materialsEnsure good personal hygiene and clean working practices when working in the raw material store, dispensing area and manufacturing environment.
