About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Food & Beverage Manager to lead multiple outlets at our Luxury Five-Star Hotel in Hermanus, South Africa. As a hands-on professional with five-star service expertise, you will drive profitability and deliver exceptional guest experiences in a refined, high-performance environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Full oversight of all F&B outlets and daily operations
- Stock control, ordering, forecasting & inventory management (beverage & OE)
- Revenue monitoring, cost control & expense management
- Event oversight – booking, planning & coordination
- Team recruitment, training, development & performance management
- Vendor relationship management
- Guest experience excellence & complaint resolution
- Compliance with food, health & safety standards
Requirements
- 3–5 years’ experience in a 5-star hotel or luxury restaurant environment
- Proven leadership experience
- Strong financial acumen & numeracy skills
- Solid understanding of POS systems (Micros advantageous)
- Good wine knowledge
- Highly organised & able to work well under pressure
- Energetic, service-driven & hands-on
- Excellent English communication skills
