About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Parts Manager to join our dealership in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the correct parts mix is maintained, managing and training staff, and driving profitability through effective purchasing procedures, inventory control, and staff utilization.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the dealership has a correct parts mix to supply workshops and third parties with parts for services and repairs.
- Manage and train staff of the parts department.
- Meet objectives using proper purchasing procedures, inventory control, and staff utilization.
- Implement security measures to protect parts inventory.
- Develop pricing strategies and merchandising displays.
- Coordinate advertising and promotional activities.
Requirements
- At least 3 to 4 years of experience as a Parts Manager with a Vehicle dealership.
- Experience working at a corporate branded dealership (e.g. Haval, Chery, Suzuki, Kia).
- Proven track record of running a profitable Parts department.
- Good knowledge of part sales, marketing, or After-sales.
Qualifications
- Valid SA Driver’s license.
- Clear criminal record.
