About the Role
A reputable and established operation within the agricultural and heavy equipment sector is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to join their technical team. This role is suited to a hands-on, mechanically strong individual who thrives in a site-based environment and takes pride in maintaining machinery to the highest operational standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections and advanced diagnostic testing
- Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance
- Identify and repair worn or damaged components
- Repair, overhaul and replace major assemblies and sub-assemblies
- Work on hydraulic, electrical, fuel, braking, steering and air systems
- Complete machine assessments and prepare technical reports
- Maintain accurate service documentation
- Support operational efficiency by ensuring machinery uptime
Requirements
Proven experience as a Diesel Technician / Diesel Mechanic (preferred) OR strong proven experience in heavy/agricultural equipment
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capability
Own tools essential
Strong mechanical and technical understanding
Detail-oriented, dependable and methodical
Able to work independently and manage workload effectively
Qualifications
Trade Tested Diesel Mechanic (preferred)
