About the Role

The Security Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of security operations, ensuring compliance with Occupational Health & Safety regulations, and leading emergency preparedness planning. This is a senior role that requires strong leadership and people management skills, as well as excellent incident management and problem-solving ability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Security Operations Management: Oversee all on-site guarding operations and security personnel.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments.
  • Investigate incidents and ensure proper reporting and corrective action.
  • Control Room Management: Supervise and manage control room operations (CCTV, access control, alarms).
  • Maintain accurate incident logs and reporting systems.
  • Ensure 24/7 monitoring and response readiness.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Conduct safety audits and implement corrective measures.
  • Lead emergency preparedness planning (fire drills, evacuation procedures, etc.).
  • Team Leadership & Administration: Manage security staff scheduling, performance, and discipline.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 (essential)
  • PSIRA Grade A certification (essential)
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a senior security management role
  • Experience managing control room operations and CCTV systems
