My client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Manager in Cape Town surrounding areas to oversee and lead multiple store locations within a designated region. Minimum requirements: Management of 6 branches Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail management or a related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role (Regional Manager, Area Manager, District Manager, etc.) Proven experience in managing multiple locations and leading a team to achieve sales and operational targets Matric Fluent in Afrikaans and English Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory) Solid understanding of retail sales strategies, inventory management, and customer service excellence Ability to analyze sales data, monitor performance, and implement strategies to improve results Willingness to travel frequently within the designated region to oversee store operations and provide in-person support to managers and teams Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and retail management software. Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems is a plus Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving retail environment and adapt quickly to changes A customer-centric mindset, with the ability to lead teams in delivering outstanding customer experiences Time management and professionalism is key for this role Willing to work retail hours, including weekends Skills required: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment Ability to address operational challenges, employee issues, and customer concerns effectively Strong leadership abilities, with a demonstrated ability to manage, motivate, and develop a team Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with staff, customers, and senior management Organizational skills Duties and responsibilities: Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of multiple stores within the assigned region Ensure all stores adhere to company policies, procedures, and brand standards Conduct regular store visits to monitor performance, identify issues, and provide guidance and support to Store Managers Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of store managers and staff to achieve sales targets and maintain high performance Provide ongoing coaching, training, and professional development opportunities for store teams Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-energy work environment that encourages teamwork and employee engagement Drive sales growth and profitability within the region by implementing effective sales strategies and initiatives Analyze sales data, customer trends, and market conditions to adjust strategies and improve store performance Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for each store, including sales, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction Ensure that stores maintain optimal stock levels and effective inventory management practices Monitor inventory reports to identify trends, manage stock replenishment, and reduce stockouts or overstocks Coordinate with the central team to ensure accurate order processing and product distribution Champion a customer-first culture across all stores, ensuring exceptional service delivery and a positive shopping experience Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction Ensure stores are consistently delivering high-quality product presentations and visual merchandising standards Collaborate with the HR team to recruit, hire, and retain top talent for the region Lead training and onboarding initiatives for new store managers and staff members Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement Manage regional budgets, ensuring stores operate within financial guidelines and meet profitability targets Monitor and control expenses, including staffing costs, inventory, and operational expenses Ensure stores achieve financial objectives while maintaining operational efficiency Prepare and deliver regular performance reports to senior management, highlighting regional achievements, challenges, and opportunities Communicate key corporate initiatives, product launches, and updates to the regional teams Ensure consistent communication with store managers to align on company goals and regional targets Conduct regular analysis of market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities Provide input to senior management on potential new store locations, merchandising strategies, and product offerings based on market insights Ensure all stores comply with local health, safety, and regulatory standards Promote a safe and clean working environment for all employees and customers Collaborate with the marketing team to implement regional promotional campaigns and events Ensure all in-store promotions and marketing materials are effectively executed and aligned with brand standards Remuneration: R 15 000 basic Incentive (depending on performance of the branches) IMPORTANT: Applications close 13 March 2026 If you did not receive feedback within 14 days, please consider your application unsuccessful Only applications submitted via the Ditto Jobs platform will be considered Only candidates who meet all our client’s minimum requirements will be contacted
