About the Role
We are partnering with an Ultra-Luxury Safari Camp in Masai Mara to recruit a highly skilled Lodge Operations Manager for a remote wilderness setting. An exceptional opportunity exists for a highly experienced hospitality professional to take on a standalone leadership role at a safari camp, responsible for delivering world-class service, strong commercial results, and seamless day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all departments, including Guest Experience, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Administration
- Act as the on-site custodian of the asset, ensuring exceptional service delivery and financial performance
- Balance high-level strategic oversight with operational execution in a challenging yet rewarding environment
- Maintain exceptional service standards and lead a diverse team to achieve this goal
- Thrive in a remote, hands-on, and physically demanding environment
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years experience in luxury hospitality
- At least 3+ years in a senior management role (Camp Manager, Lodge Manager, Hotel Manager, or similar)
- Proven experience with full P&L responsibility and delivering GOP targets
- Previous safari lodge or remote property experience strongly preferred
- Strong financial and commercial acumen
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
