Job Description
Hire Resolve’s client is a leading Construction firm that is urgently seeking the expertise of a Highway Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the design and construction of highway and roadway projects
- Prepare and review project designs, plans and specifications
- Oversee the preparation of permit applications and documentation
- Coordinate with project teams and external stakeholders, such as government agencies and consultants
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
- Monitor project progress and resolve any issues that arise
- Conduct inspections and quality control checks
- Manage project budgets and schedules
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineering staff
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in highway engineering and project management
- Strong knowledge of highway design standards and regulations
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, and other design software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with construction management software is a plus
- Knowledge of construction safety practices and regulations
