Job Description
About the Role
The Occupational Health and Safety Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership of Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (SHERQ) management across the Group/nationally. The role ensures full compliance with applicable legislation, including the Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993, and drives a proactive safety culture aligned with ISO standards and best practice.

- Mitigate risk and oversee compliance
- National OHS governance
- Audit performance
Requirements
- Health and Safety related degree
- Post grad qualification in Fleet Management or similar advantageous
- 8 years experience in occupational health and safety management
- 3 years management experience
- Proven ability to liaise with a wide variety of stakeholders at all levels
- Safety Management Training Course (SAMTRAC)
- Certified Safety, Health, Environment, Risk and Quality (SHERQ)
- Certified ISO 9001 and 14001
- Code 08 Drivers Licence
