About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Developer to join our Agri Tech team in Pretoria. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for prospecting new clients, pitching and securing deals, and driving revenue growth through our full agri-tech suite.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect, pitch and secure new clients
- Sell full agri-tech suite: Spray, Harvest, Scouting, Asset Management, Pruning
- Identify and close opportunities in returnable packaging for harvest, storage and equipment
- Maintain strong client relationships & resolve queries
- Gather customer requirements and communicate to internal teams
- Analyse competitors, markets and pricing trends
- Prepare monthly sales reports & variance analysis
- Support innovation, key accounts, and on-site project teams
- Keep up with industry trends, tech developments, and agri supply-chain best practices
Requirements
- Degree in Business/Marketing/IT (or similar)
- 5 years or more sales experience (min. 3 years in agricultural supply chain)
- Strong understanding of web/mobile apps, RFID/barcode scanning, IoT devices, GPS tracking
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proven track record of closing deals & hitting targets
Qualifications
- Advanced MS Office and CRM skills
