About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team in the Western Cape region. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with South African labour legislation and providing strategic guidance on HR-related matters. If you have a strong background in Human Resources Management and excellent analytical skills, we would like to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage HR data and workforce analytics to inform business decisions
- Develop and implement HR strategies to drive business growth and improvement
- Provide expert advice on labour legislation and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Build strong relationships across all levels of the business to achieve shared goals
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and address talent gaps and succession planning needs
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management, Labour Relations, Industrial Psychology, or a related field
- 5-6 years of HR generalist experience
- At least 2-3 years of proven ability in an HR management role
- Experience in a food production environment within a unionised setting
- Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation (BCEA, LRA, EEA, OHSA, UIF, COIDA)
Qualifications
- Formal education/certification in Human Resources Management or related field
