About the Role

Apex Hotel Supplies is seeking an experienced Telesales Representative to join our internal sales team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for initiating outbound calls to potential department clients, building strong relationships with existing clients, and driving sales growth. If you have a proven track record in FMCG telesales and excellent communication skills, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Initiate outbound calls to potential department clients to introduce our products and services.
  • Identify customer needs and provide product information and solutions.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with existing clients through regular follow-up calls.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets set by the Sales Manager.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales pitches to persuade potential clients to purchase our products or services.
  • Maintain sales discipline with consistent outreach and follow-up cadence to meet and exceed targets.
  • Prioritise high-potential accounts and respond effectively to time-sensitive promotions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company’s product and service offerings of allocated department.
  • Clearly communicate product features, benefits, and pricing to potential clients.
  • Accurately process orders and sales transactions, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Work closely with the Operations and Logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfilment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
  • Act as a liaison between the customer and other departments to resolve any issues effectively.
  • Research and stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions.
  • Proactively seeks out new information and integrates learnings to improve performance.
  • Provide feedback to the Sales Manager regarding market insights and competitor activities.

Requirements

  • 3–4 years’ proven FMCG telesales experience in a target-driven role within the Food, Beverage, Hotel, Foodservice industry.
  • Proficiency in Hindi and/or French – friendly, confident, and professional tone, use of appropriate pace and energy.
  • Telesales competencies; strong active listening skills, ability to paraphrase accurately and validate customer needs.
  • Clear & concise communication, articulates product value, features, and benefits in simple terms.
  • Customer service driven mindset, knowledge of customer buying motives, pain points, and preferences.
  • Ability to build trust-based relationships that support customer success and satisfaction, even in challenging interactions, to drive repeat business.
