South Africa: Cleaner/Lane Attendant

About the Role

The Cleaner/Lane Attendant role is an essential position in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our office building, gardens, and toll plaza facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep of these areas, adhering to health and safety regulations, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that gardens, stores, booth, and lanes at the toll plaza are cleaned and maintained.
• Comply with company Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.
• Notify management of occurring deficiencies and breakages or need for repairs and replacement.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.
• Make adjustments and minor repairs to equipment/machinery and stores.
• Ensure that paved surfaces are cleaned and without weeds.
• Clean and maintain cleaning machinery and chemicals according to supplier’s specification and material data sheets.

Requirements

• Grade 10 (minimum)
• Inhouse training
• Basic Knowledge of Working of Gardens and Pressure Cleaning Equipment
