About the Role
As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of our HR department during a 4-month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC) period. This role will provide an opportunity to gain experience in HR generalist duties and contribute to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate full-cycle recruitment for production, technical, and administrative roles.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop job descriptions.
- Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding processes.
- Support conflict resolution and grievance handling.
- Promote positive employee relations through effective communication and engagement strategies.
- Investigate and document employee complaints, policy violations, and disciplinary actions.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Maintain and update employee handbook and HR policies.
- Support audits and ensure accurate record-keeping of personnel files and HR data.
- Coordinate performance appraisal processes and track development plans.
- Support managers in coaching and performance improvement discussions.
- Assist in identifying training needs and coordinating training programs for staff and supervisors.
- Maintain training records and assist with skills matrix development.
- Maintain HRIS and ensure accuracy of employee data.
- Generate and analyse HR reports (e.g., absenteeism, turnover, headcount, diversity).
- Assist with payroll inputs, employee benefit administration, and leave management.
- Respond to employee queries related to compensation, benefits, and time off.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2-3 years of HR generalist experience; automotive or manufacturing sector preferred.
- Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a high-pressure environment.
