About the Role

As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of our HR department during a 4-month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC) period. This role will provide an opportunity to gain experience in HR generalist duties and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate full-cycle recruitment for production, technical, and administrative roles.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop job descriptions.
  • Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding processes.
  • Support conflict resolution and grievance handling.
  • Promote positive employee relations through effective communication and engagement strategies.
  • Investigate and document employee complaints, policy violations, and disciplinary actions.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
  • Maintain and update employee handbook and HR policies.
  • Support audits and ensure accurate record-keeping of personnel files and HR data.
  • Coordinate performance appraisal processes and track development plans.
  • Support managers in coaching and performance improvement discussions.
  • Assist in identifying training needs and coordinating training programs for staff and supervisors.
  • Maintain training records and assist with skills matrix development.
  • Maintain HRIS and ensure accuracy of employee data.
  • Generate and analyse HR reports (e.g., absenteeism, turnover, headcount, diversity).
  • Assist with payroll inputs, employee benefit administration, and leave management.
  • Respond to employee queries related to compensation, benefits, and time off.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of HR generalist experience; automotive or manufacturing sector preferred.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a high-pressure environment.
