About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Manager to lead our cybersecurity programme within a highly modernised environment. As the custodian of digital assets and data integrity, you will bridge the gap between strategic security policies and hands-on technical execution, ensuring regulatory compliance, mitigating emerging threats, and embedding a strong security culture across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage cybersecurity policies and frameworks, ensuring ongoing implementation, review, and alignment with standards such as ISO 27001 and POPIA
- Drive security architecture initiatives, collaborating with DevSecOps and Enterprise Architecture to eliminate vulnerabilities and ensure secure system design
- Lead incident response efforts, ensuring optimal Mean Time to Detect (MTTD) and Mean Time to Respond (MTTR) within business thresholds
- Oversee risk and compliance, ensuring successful external audits with zero critical findings
- Promote cybersecurity awareness and culture, achieving high completion rates across organisational training initiatives
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Certifications (Essential at least one): CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor)
- Advantageous: Cloud Security certifications (e.g., Microsoft Azure Security Engineer)
