About the Role
We are seeking a Junior Dairy & Calf Manager to join our team at Farm Manager SA in Humansdorp. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and management skills, with experience working on a dairy farm.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the dairy and calf section
- Ensure high standards of stockmanship and animal welfare
- Maintain accurate records and reports using computer software
- Supervise and train junior staff members
- Perform routine maintenance tasks related to equipment and facilities
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Agriculture
- At least 3 years’ experience on a dairy farm
- Great stockmanship essential
- Computer literate
- Exceptional leadership and management experience, with good interpersonal communication skills
- Mechanically orientated
- Valid driver’s license
