About the Role
HotelJobs is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our luxury safari lodge in Botswana. As the head of operations, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, driving sustainability and community initiatives, and building strong relationships with guests, staff, agents, and the local community.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional 5-guest experiences
- Drive sustainability & community initiatives
- Build strong relationships (guests, staff, agents, community)
- Oversee budgets, forecasting & cost control
- Maintain standards across all departments
- Host VIP guests, agents & media
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years as Lodge Manager / GM in a remote property
- Strong leadership & people management skills
- Solid financial & operational understanding
- Passion for hospitality, conservation & sustainability
- Confident, well-presented & guest-focused
- Able to work independently in a remote environment

- Formal education/certifications (if applicable)
