About the Role
Join our dynamic team as a Software Developer in Cape Town City Centre, where you’ll be part of a fast-paced environment that values continuous improvement and individual ownership. Key Responsibilities
- Develop software applications using Java 8 and Spring/Spring Boot frameworks
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices-based architectures
- Work with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar technologies) to store and retrieve data
- Utilize Git for version control and CI/CD pipelines for efficient development and deployment
- Troubleshoot issues and debug code using strong problem-solving skills
- Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality software solutions
Requirements
- Strong experience with Java 8 programming language
- Proficiency in Spring and Spring Boot frameworks
- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and microservices-based architectures
- Solid database experience (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar technologies)
- Familiarity with Git version control and CI/CD pipelines
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is advantageous
Qualifications
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
