About the Role
Network Finance is seeking an experienced Senior Credit Analyst (CIB) to join their team in Johannesburg North. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing credit risk for a defined Corporate & Investment Banking Resources & Project Finance portfolio, conducting detailed credit risk assessments, and presenting recommendations to credit and risk committees.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage credit risk for a defined Corporate & Investment Banking Resources & Project Finance portfolio
- Conduct detailed credit risk assessments using financial, industry, and macroeconomic analysis
- Prepare and present credit applications and recommendations to credit and risk committees
- Manage the full credit lifecycle including origination support, implementation, monitoring, and restructuring
- Deliver monthly portfolio risk MI and present insights to senior management
- Monitor covenant compliance, securities, and emerging risks with early identification and escalation
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal business and specialist stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field
- Postgraduate qualification preferred (CA(SA), CFA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within a Corporate & Investment Banking credit risk environment
- Proven exposure to Mining, Project Finance and/or Oil & Gas
- Strong experience across the full credit lifecycle
