About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Software Developer to join their team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining in-house applications and integrating reporting solutions. This role requires a strong background in full-cycle software development, with a focus on testing and ongoing support.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement new features and functionalities for in-house applications
- Integrate reporting solutions using Power BI integration tools
- Develop and maintain reports using iReports (Jasper Reports) tools
- Utilize Git Bash for version control and collaboration
- Develop software applications using the .NET / Microsoft Visual Studio framework
- Manage and optimize MS SQL databases
- Collaborate with project teams to deliver high-quality solutions within tight timelines
Requirements
- 3-year IT qualification (Degree/Diploma)
- 1 year development experience using Power BI integration tools
- 1 year development experience using iReports (Jasper Reports) tools
- 1 year development experience using Git Bash
- 5 years development experience using .NET / Microsoft Visual Studio framework
- 3 years development experience using MS SQL
- Minimum 5 years of development experience within a technical or industrial environment
- Project experience: 5 years
