About the Role

The General Factory Worker supports daily production operations within a corrugated board manufacturing environment, playing a vital role in maintaining quality standards and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Assist on corrugator and converting machines
Pack finished corrugated board products according to specifications
Strap and secure bundles for storage and dispatch
Count, sort, and inspect products to ensure quality and accuracy
Perform quality checks using a tape measure or digital caliper
Remove waste material and maintain clean, organised workstations
Assist with loading and unloading of raw materials and finished goods
Adhere to all health, safety, and machine operating procedures
Report defects, damages, and safety concerns to supervisors
Carry out any other reasonable duties as required by the company

Requirements

Physically fit and able to perform manual labour in a production environment
Willingness to work around machinery and follow strict safety procedures
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team
Basic numeracy skills for counting and stock checking

Qualifications

Previous experience in manufacturing, packaging, or the corrugated industry
Basic machine operation experience
Valid forklift licence
Valid drivers licence
