About the Role
As an Event Coordinator at Adcorp Insights, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional events that exceed client expectations. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and utilize your research skills to select vendors that best meet these requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to understand their needs and expectations for events
- Perform research on venues, caterers, etc. to select vendors that best work for each event, negotiating as needed
- Work closely with vendors, stakeholders, and other key event participants to ensure all parts of the event planning process go smoothly
- Ensure all events are within financial and time restraints
- Supervise and assist with all event set-up and take-down procedures
- Conduct a walk-through before events start to ensure everything meets expectations
- Resolve problems in a timely manner
- Analyze event results and present findings to clients, stakeholders, and other key team members
- Supervise other staff members as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience, preferably in hospitality or events
- Own reliable car and valid drivers licence
- Strong people skills and professional communication
- Excellent administration and organisational abilities
- Confident problem-solver who can work well under pressure
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications (if applicable)
