About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Farm Mechanic to join our team in Port Elizabeth, responsible for maintaining and repairing farm equipment, machinery, and vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on tractors, TLBs, bakkies, and plant machinery
- Welding, fitting, turning, assembling, and general mechanics tasks
- Repairing and troubleshooting mechanical issues
- Managing a team and working independently in a dependent environment
- Maintaining electrical, building, and plumbing systems
Requirements
- Mechanical Diploma or qualification
- Trade-tested certificates in welding, fitting, turning, and assembling advantageous
- Previous farming experience essential
- Proven ability with tractor repair and maintenance
- Knowledge of TLB and bakkie repair
- Ability to work on plant machinery
- Maintenance-oriented general electrical knowledge
