About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef/Kitchen Manager to join our client’s catering team on a contract basis near Kriel in Mpumalanga. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-volume operations and be able to manage a busy kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage kitchen operations during peak periods
  • Ensure high-quality food production and presentation
  • Maintain HACCP & Food Safety Level 3 certification standards
  • Supervise and train junior staff members
  • Collaborate with the catering team to achieve business objectives

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in industrial, contract catering, or hospitality settings
  • Proven ability in high-volume production (1,000 covers per shift)
  • HACCP & Food Safety Level 3 certification

Salary & Benefits

  • R14K per annum.
