This is a fantastic live-in opportunity for a passionate couple looking to combine exceptional wellness experiences with high-end culinary offerings in a tranquil bush setting. Salary: R34,000 Combined (Live-In) ‍ Head Chef – Key Responsibilities • Oversee and manage all kitchen operations • Design and prepare high-quality, health-focused menus in line with the lodge’s wellness ethos • Lead and manage the kitchen team, ensuring high standards of performance and presentation • Maintain strict hygiene, food safety and cleanliness standards • Manage stock control, ordering and food costings • Cater to dietary requirements and personalised guest preferences • Ensure consistency and excellence across all meal services ️ Head Chef – Requirements • Formal cheffing qualification • Previous experience in a 5-star lodge environment • Proven experience managing a kitchen team • Strong understanding of health-conscious and wellness-focused cuisine • Own vehicle and valid driver’s licence • Non-smoker and no pets ‍♀️ Senior Wellness Therapist – Key Responsibilities • Deliver a range of luxury spa treatments to a high standard • Create personalised wellness experiences for guests • Maintain treatment rooms and ensure a tranquil, professional environment • Manage spa bookings, stock and product control • Uphold exceptional guest service standards at all times • Contribute to the overall wellness offering of the lodge ️ Senior Wellness Therapist – Requirements • Relevant wellness or beauty therapy qualification • Experience in a luxury spa or lodge environment • Strong knowledge of treatments and wellness practices • Excellent communication and guest engagement skills • Professional presentation and a passion for wellness Package & Benefits • Combined salary of R34,000 per month • Live-in accommodation (shared as a couple) • Meal allowance of R3,370 per month (in addition to salary) • Medical aid contribution (50% after successful probation period) • Participation in gratuity pool (unless individual gratuities apply) • Bed night benefits after probation This role is ideal for a couple who are passionate about wellness, hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences in a serene bush environment.
