About the Role

Leading fast-food franchise is expanding their operations, and we’re seeking skilled Assistant Restaurant Managers to oversee all staff, budgets, and operations of the business. As an ideal candidate, you’ll have a strong background in restaurant management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily restaurant operations
  • Supervise staff and provide training
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations (food safety and hygiene)
  • Control operational costs and maximise profitability
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of previous experience managing a diverse workforce, in the fast-food restaurant/hotel industry
  • Must be a Zambian national with a clear criminal history
  • Valid driver’s license is advantageous
  • Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and people management skills
  • Strong figure acumen and proficiency in Excel (working in a digitised environment)
  • Entrepreneurial flair and the ability to understand the customer focus
  • Strong communication skills, at all levels

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification/diploma, degree preferred
