About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Accountant to join their Alberton Auditing and Accounting Firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of our clients, providing accurate and timely financial information, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day financial operations of clients, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and forecasts
- Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to improve financial performance
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations
- Coordinate and liaise with clients, external auditors, and regulatory bodies
- Train, mentor, and supervise junior accounting staff
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an accounting firm
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Completed SAICA or SAIPA Articles
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
