About the Role

Xpresso Café is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Assistant to support our purchasing and supply chain operations across the business. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless day-to-day operations, managing budgets, and fostering strong relationships with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with sourcing and purchasing of stock, equipment, and supplies
Process purchase orders and follow up with suppliers
Compare pricing, quality, and delivery timelines
Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
Assist with supplier communication and relationship management
Support stock control and ensure timely replenishment
Liaise with internal departments (operations, warehouse, finance)

Requirements

Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, or administration (advantage)
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Good communication and negotiation abilities
Basic understanding of stock control and cost management
Proficient in MS Excel and general computer skills

Qualifications

Matric
