About the Role

Clever Heads Personnel is seeking a skilled Technical Test Analyst to join our team in Bellville. As a key member of our Technical Testing function, you will be responsible for contributing to the delivery of high-quality testing services that meet our employer’s standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the Technical Testing function (manual & automated) to meet testing requirements
  • Perform software testing (Front-end, Back-end Testing and Data Validations) to complement existing UI Testing
  • Ability to operate independently while delivering work outputs to meet quality & standards of employer
  • Perform OS, VM and software installations
  • Create and maintain testing environments

Requirements

  • Grade 12 (with mathematics)
  • ISEB / ISTQB Testing qualification or equivalent
  • 3 years work experience in an IT test environment
  • Good understanding of automation testing tools & testing web-based software applications using technologies like Node, Elastic Search, Postman & Playwright or similar
  • Coding skills in preferably JavaScript
  • Capable of performing OS, VM and software installations
  • Experience in creating & maintaining testing environments
  • Attention to detail and deadline driven
  • Team orientated & ability to work independently

Qualifications

  • ISTQB Advanced Technical Test Analyst qualification (preferably)
  • Experience with Network Simulation tools, e.g. MIMIC, GNS (preferably)
  • Linux skills & Jenkins experience (preferably)

Salary & Benefits

R28 000 – R40 000 (CTC) p/m
