About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HP Printer Presales Engineer to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. As a key member of our sales engineering team, you will be responsible for engaging with customers to understand their print and document management needs and recommending suitable HP print solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand their print and document management needs and recommend suitable HP print solutions.
- Design and support Managed Print Service (MPS) solutions tailored to different client environments.
- Assist in demonstrating and positioning print management and document workflow solutions to customers.
- Support the implementation and ongoing optimisation of print and document management platforms.
- Collaborate with sales teams, technical teams, and customers to deliver effective print and workflow solutions.
- Provide guidance and recommendations on print fleet management, security, monitoring, and reporting solutions.
- Assist customers with solution enhancements, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of print-related issues where required.
- Present solutions and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 (Compulsory)
- Proven experience working with Managed Print Services (MPS) and print management solutions.
- Experience with PaperCut solutions (Technical and/or Sales Certification preferred).
- Good understanding of HP printers, multifunction devices, and print management environments.
- Experience with HP solutions such as HP Web JetAdmin, HP Security Manager, HP Smart Device Services (SDS), or similar technologies will be advantageous.
- Exposure to print fleet monitoring and reporting tools.
