About the Role
The Interior Architect is ultimately the Design and Integration Lead responsible for leading the thinking around window and door design, detailing, and system integration to complement and enhance the architect’s vision. It works with the company’s clients (architects etc) to influence specification, elevate design outcomes, and drive commercial success through early-stage design involvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Design Leadership, Enhancement & Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with architects and interior architects to enhance window and door design solutions in alignment with the original architectural intent.
- Technical Detailing & System Integration
- Translate architectural design intent into robust, buildable window and door solutions through intelligent detailing and system integration.
- Specification Ownership
- Drive correct specification.
- Ensure systems are properly documented in drawings, schedules, and tender information.
- Reduce design-stage errors, late-stage changes, and specification dilution.
- Sales & Market Development (Specification-Led)
- Lead the sales and market development function through design-led influence and specification success.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience as an Interior Architect, or design led Architectural Technologist
- Background in high-end residential or hospitality projects
Technical Experience
- Strong ability to read, interpret, and critique architectural drawings
- High proficiency in Revit (non-negotiable)
- Solid AutoCAD capability
- Strong understanding of architectural stages
