About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations and lead a team involved in picking, scanning, loading, and stacking of products in Bloemfontein. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient processes, maintain high standards of safety and quality, and drive team performance to meet operational targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse activities including picking, scanning, loading, and pallet stacking
- Ensure all processes are followed in line with SOPs
- Achieve operational targets and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
- Supervise and support warehouse staff to ensure productivity and efficiency
- Build and maintain positive working relationships within the team
- Assist in developing staff performance and skills
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hazard-free work environment
- Ensure compliance with OHS regulations and company safety procedures
- Monitor staff adherence to safety standards and report risks
- Ensure compliance with ISO 22000 and food safety standards
- Maintain hygiene, cleaning, and pest control programmes
- Ensure traceability processes are followed for product recall if required
- Drive continuous improvement of food safety systems
Requirements
National Senior Certificate (Matric) or equivalent (NQF 4)
Valid Forklift License
Minimum 5 years experience in a warehouse environment
At least 1 year supervisory experience
Feed industry experience will be advantageous
