Travel & Tours Company based in Bryanston is looking for a young and energetic individual Youth Tour Consultant. The suitable candidate will have a passion for working with youth to design; quote and book and manage various inbound and outbound journeys for the Sport and Leisure division which includes schools, universities and clubs, to pro-actively assist in Product Development and ensure current product is updated; costed and relevant to client demand and to exceed customer expectations; meet operational deadlines and achieve set sales targets. Duties: Client Relationships: Ensure client expectations are met and the highest delivery of service is driven through the business. Ensure that clients are offered the best available price and product. Continually look at creative ideas and review products which are offered to clients. Build new and nurture existing relationships with clients. Establish and maintain good relationships with all staff. Ensure effective communication with staff and clients at all times. Ensure that all correspondence, documentation, costings, proposals, presentations are delivered accurately and timeously. Ensure minimum standards are set and measured Follow-up with clients and any leads The ability to manage and tour lead guests when they travel provide at end to end experience. Travel with Youth groups as required Technical Skills: Turnaround time as per agreed Policies or client specifications. Tourplan knowledge and execution. Amadeus Ticketing experience Intermediate Knowledge of customers needs and products. Quotation Sheet / Costings as required to package product Documentation Management of all groups Proactively lead the operations team through positive intervention Handling of complaints professionally Problem Solving Continually exceed the customer expectation Zoho management Administration: Full understanding and follow-through of all divisional procedures and policies. Submit timeous reports as requested and adhere to deadlines Maintain complete confidentiality with all company intellectual capital Ensure all costings are accurate, inclusive and offer our clients the best value proposition Financial Reporting: Weekly and monthly Financial reports as and when required Measure profitability on a monthly basis Monthly activity report Monthly Workload status report Manage payments relating to Debtors and Creditors where required Supplier Relationships: Commitment to and building relationships with preferred partners and more especially with the understanding of the Youth environment needs. Ensure that the best rates are always negotiated and secured. Understanding supplier products. Establishing best product. Personal development on destinations and products. Actively source new products and creative ideas Negotiate specific requirements relating to clients or departmental needs Learning and Development: Continuously develop product knowledge Keep abreast of industry trends and new products. Attend exhibitions, trade shows where necessary and relevant Requirements: Matric certificate Travel & Tourism qualification Minimum 3 5 years experience within the Tourism Industry Inbound & Outbound Competency Experience on ZOHO would be an advantage Previous knowledge of school environment a MUST Experience on Tourplan essential
