About the Role
A highly organised and detail-driven finance professional is required to support a Finance Manager and Director across multiple entities in a fast-paced family office environment, handling full bookkeeping functions, reconciliations, reporting, and general administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
- Bookkeeping & Finance: Full bookkeeping function using Xero (essential)
- Bank Reconciliations and Transaction Management: Across multiple entities
- Processing Invoices, Receipts, Deposits, Purchase Orders, and Refunds
- Preparing Weekly Payables and Receivables Reports
- Posting Journals, including Monthly Interest Journals across Entities and Loan Structures
- Maintaining Accurate Financial Records and Resolving Discrepancies
- Uploading and Managing Bank Statements across Entities
- Supporting Statutory Compliance and Audit Requirements
- Managing Creditor/Debtor Age Analysis
- Assisting with Inventory, Asset Registers, and Insurance Administration
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years bookkeeping / finance experience
- Strong proficiency in Xero (essential)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Knowledge of SA tax, VAT, and SARS e-filing
- Experience with multi-entity bookkeeping
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Clear credit record and contactable references
- Valid drivers licence
