About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer to join our growing remote team from South Africa. As part of a leading UK-based healthcare technology company, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our platform, which is used by the majority of UK acute hospitals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining automated end-to-end tests using Playwright
  • Writing API-level tests for backend services
  • Embedding automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
  • Investigating and resolving test failures and regressions
  • Supporting release readiness and improving product quality
  • Collaborating closely with developers, product teams, and support

Requirements

  • 24 years of experience in test automation
  • Experience with Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks
  • Strong understanding of API testing
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines
  • Detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about quality
