About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer to join our growing remote team from South Africa. As part of a leading UK-based healthcare technology company, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our platform, which is used by the majority of UK acute hospitals.
Key Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining automated end-to-end tests using Playwright
- Writing API-level tests for backend services
- Embedding automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
- Investigating and resolving test failures and regressions
- Supporting release readiness and improving product quality
- Collaborating closely with developers, product teams, and support
Requirements
- 24 years of experience in test automation
- Experience with Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks
- Strong understanding of API testing
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines
- Detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about quality
