Cape Town City Centre: Brand Manager

About the Role

Tsogo Sun Digital is seeking a Brand Manager to help shape, grow and bring our brands to life across a digital-first business with a powerful omnichannel footprint. We are looking for a senior, hands-on brand marketer who wants to make a visible mark in a rare opportunity to build a brand discipline from scratch.

Key Responsibilities

• Shaping and evolving brand strategy, positioning and brand expression across the Tsogo Sun Digital portfolio
• Supporting the launch of new brands, sub-brands, propositions or territories as the business expands
• Building brands in the minds of consumers by creating stronger meaning, visibility, trust and distinctiveness over time
• Defining customer segments, audiences and brand priorities to ensure sharper planning and stronger relevance
• Driving trade marketing opportunities across Tsogo properties, with a strong focus on in-casino and in-hotel brand presence
• Working with internal teams to ensure high-quality brand visibility across venue signage, point of sale, promotional materials, gifting, merchandise and customer-facing collateral
• Leading or supporting events and activations, especially in the near term, and ensuring they are properly branded, commercially relevant and well executed
• Working with influencers, partners and where relevant ambassadors to support awareness, credibility and cultural relevance
• Aligning brand activity with loyalty, CRM and customer marketing opportunities so brand work supports both acquisition and retention

Requirements

• 8 years experience in brand marketing, trade marketing, activations, partnerships or a closely related role
• Strong understanding of brand strategy, positioning, brand development and brand consistency
• Experience bringing brands to life across customer-facing physical environments such as venues, events, activations, POS or trade environments
• Campaign-planning capability, including building calendars around key moments, audiences and business priorities
• Good understanding of digital marketing and how brand activity should connect with customer journeys, loyalty, CRM and broader performance activity

Qualifications

• Formal education/certifications (Bachelor’s, LLB, Matric, etc.) is not required for this role.
