About the Role

The Construction Plumbing Site Supervisor is a key position in our Cape Town City Centre construction project, requiring a seasoned professional with extensive experience in plumbing supervision and relevant industry expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations on the construction site to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards.
  • Lead a team of plumbers and tradespeople to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Conduct regular inspections and monitoring of work progress, identifying and addressing any issues or defects.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules for plumbing systems and equipment.
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., electrical, mechanical) to ensure seamless integration of services.

Requirements

  • Minimum 9 years’ experience as Plumber
  • At least 5 years experience in a Supervisory role in the Construction Industry
  • National Certificate in Construction specializing in Plumbing
  • Relevant Professional Memberships such as IOPSA | PIRB | CoCT
  • Red Seal Trade Test essential
  • Proficient in relevant Software (e.g., AutoCAD, HydroCAD)
  • Valid Driver’s License and own Transport required
