About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Community Lead to join our Corporate Real Estate team in Cape Town City Centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for fostering connections and creating a dynamic workplace culture within our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fostering connections and creating a dynamic workplace culture
  • Ensuring member needs are met, such as curated events and facilitating engagements
  • Conducting building tours set up by the Sales team for VIPs or prospective members as needed
  • Setting up and hosting weekly “social events” to create a community within your location
  • Liaising with in-building cleaning companies to ensure space is kept up to standards
  • Overseeing Community responsibilities for Member companies in buildings where Community is not present
  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the workspace, ensuring it is well-maintained and fully functional
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and company policies
  • Supporting community manager in space utilisation optimisation and occupancy tracking
  • Reviewing AI media platforms to understand areas of improvement and implementing proactive changes

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree or diploma or related qualification is preferred but not essential
  • Previous experience having worked as a facility community lead or in a customer engagement role working within the hospitality, building, or related markets
  • Computer literacy (Google Suite and MS Office proficiency)
  • Strong attention to detail in managing workspace logistics and facility upkeep

  • Formal education/certifications are not required for this role
