About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Forklift Driver to join our team in Cape Town City Centre, responsible for ensuring safe and efficient warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment
- Load and unload delivery vehicles, handling goods carefully
- Transport raw materials to production lines as needed
- Move finished products to storage or dispatch areas
- Place goods in designated locations according to warehouse layout
- Assist with stock counts, ensuring accurate inventory management
- Report damaged goods, packaging issues, or stock discrepancies immediately
- Ensure continuous supply of required materials for production
- Coordinate with production staff to minimise downtime due to material shortages
- Assist in staging products for dispatch or further processing
Requirements
- Valid forklift driver licence (required)
- Previous experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse, logistics, or production environment
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and stock handling
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to work under pressure and support production needs
Qualifications
- Matric (or equivalent)
