Position Overview: A subject matter expert responsible for managing, analyzing, and processing global Customs Tariff (Harmonized Schedule) updates for PST.AG, ensuring compliance and optimization of trade data solutions. Key Responsibilities: Customs Tariff Management : Daily monitoring, research, and interpretation of international Customs Tariffs, Duty Rates, Controls, and Tariff Measures in data and legal regulation sources Understanding World Customs Organization Harmonized System codes Maintaining an up-to-date and compliant database of Customs Tariffs. Track, analyze, and translate legal regulations into formats that are understandable for technical teams (developers) and PST.AG customers. Technical Workflow and Data Management: Manage and optimize technical workflows. Understand and implement precise data formats and processing procedures. Identify and resolve workflow inefficiencies and data quality issues. Documentation and Communication: Write clear, comprehensive documentation of processes. Communicate effectively with technical administrators, developers, data specialists, and management. Coordinate across departments and manage task assignments. Compliance and Regulatory Expertise: Stay current with international customs regulations. Update internal controls and procedure manuals. Troubleshoot customer complaints and regulatory challenges. AI‑Enabled Data Analysis and Process Optimization: Leverage AI tools to analyze large volumes of customs tariff, regulatory, and versioned data to identify patterns, inconsistencies, and potential compliance risks. Use AI-assisted research and summarization tools to accelerate interpretation of legal and regulatory updates while maintaining accuracy and auditability. Support continuous improvement of workflows by applying AI-driven insights to enhance data quality, turnaround time, and operational efficiency. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Proven experience in Customs Tariffs. Strong analytical and project management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Expertise in technical and legal process communication. Project management and coordination experience. Demonstrated knowledge and practical experience in preparing and processing Customs Declarations. Skilled in interpreting regulatory requirements, validating data accuracy, and ensuring adherence to jurisdiction‑specific customs procedures. Demonstrates independence and a strong ability to self-learn, with a natural curiosity and aptitude for rapid skill acquisition especially on AI. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with XML structures. Knowledge of SAP Schemas used in Global Trade data. Interest in and experience with large language models.
