About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Technician to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. As a key member of our IT support team, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to end-users and maintaining our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Basic end user enquiries (Keyboards not working, Printers not printing, Internet not working, Outlook mails, etc.)
  • Setup and maintenance of Camera network
  • Setup and maintenance of LAN and WIFI network
  • Setup and maintenance of Microsoft licenses and accounts
  • Setup and maintenance of laptops/desktop devices/Phones/Printers
  • Assigning Static IP’s for devices
  • Remote Desktop Access to Servers
  • VPN Access
  • Printer setups
  • Scanning
  • Installing of software like FTP Utility for scans, pdf viewer etc.
  • Forwarding requests for approval and ordering parts if approved
  • Responsible for IT Stock and the distribution of it

Requirements

  • Matric
  • A and N certification or relevant tertiary qualification
  • 1-3 years experience in similar role

Qualifications

  • Formal education/certifications (Bachelor’s, LLB, Matric, etc.)
