About the Role
We are seeking an experienced IT Support Technician to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. As a key member of our IT support team, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to end-users and maintaining our network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Basic end user enquiries (Keyboards not working, Printers not printing, Internet not working, Outlook mails, etc.)
- Setup and maintenance of Camera network
- Setup and maintenance of LAN and WIFI network
- Setup and maintenance of Microsoft licenses and accounts
- Setup and maintenance of laptops/desktop devices/Phones/Printers
- Assigning Static IP’s for devices
- Remote Desktop Access to Servers
- VPN Access
- Printer setups
- Scanning
- Installing of software like FTP Utility for scans, pdf viewer etc.
- Forwarding requests for approval and ordering parts if approved
- Responsible for IT Stock and the distribution of it
Requirements
- Matric
- A and N certification or relevant tertiary qualification
- 1-3 years experience in similar role
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications (Bachelor’s, LLB, Matric, etc.)
