About the Role

The Sales Coordinator role is a critical component of our sales team, responsible for ensuring seamless communication and project coordination between departments and external parties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project tasks related to sales to ensure seamless information flow between departments and external parties
  • Organize and prioritize tasks, delegate responsibilities, and gather feedback to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Upon receiving and comprehending the initial brief provided by the client, engage in further dialogue, and pose additional questions to refine and tailor the specifics of the project requirements
  • Manage communication channels with clients to ensure timely responses and information flow
  • Consult with the dispatch team to ensure customer requirements are booked and communicated effectively
  • Update invoice details, as necessary
  • Oversee sales projects and function as lead salesperson when required
  • Maintain physical and digital filing systems, databases, and spreadsheets
  • Create and manage filing systems, update spreadsheets, and store sensitive information securely
  • Read and interpret architectural plans and specifications to accurately assess project requirements

Requirements

  • Matric
  • Relevant qualification advantageous
  • Intermediary Excel along with experience with the creating of and process of proformas and sales orders (Pastel) or other accounting software essential
  • Financial experience to assist with costings and quotes
  • Customer service driven, strong organisational skills ensuring completion of tasks
  • Ability to read building plans
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills in English & Afrikaans

Qualifications

  • Formal education/certifications (if applicable)
