About the Role
We are seeking a Property Manager to oversee the student accommodation offering at our Cape Town City Centre location. As part of our team, you will be responsible for advancing our student accommodation and providing exceptional service to residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Intake Leasing
- Tenant Relationship Maintenance
- Capital Expenditure Reporting
- Budgets
- Arrears
- Legal Utility management
- Scope of Management
- Contract Supervision
- Provides leadership to assigned personnel through effective objective setting, delegation, and communication.
- Conducts regular meetings to ensure that personnel are well informed of changes in policies and procedures.
- Discusses areas needing improvement.
- Assigns and coordinates personnel.
- Directs daily operations
- Identifies, develops, and implements training programs as appropriate
- Conducts performance appraisals
- Provides measurable feedback to assigned personnel and suggestions for improved performance
- Formulates and implements employee corrective actions as needed
Requirements
- Matric (Must)
- BSc or BSc Honours in Property Studies or BCom in Accounting (with or without Honours)
Qualifications
- Professional Designated Exam (EAAB) will be advantageous (Must hold an FFC certificate)
