About the Role
The Junior Buyer position in our Somerset West office offers an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, technology-focused environment where you can make a real impact and grow with the business. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for executing RFQs and purchase orders, managing inventory, and supporting customer management.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute RFQs and purchase orders from MRP
- Maintain accurate BOMs and stock codes
- Track deliveries to ensure material availability for production
- Expedite late components
- Prepare shortage and supplier comparison reports
- Escalate supply risks to senior buyers
- Support inventory control through cycle counts, excess stock identification, and basic stock optimisation activities
