About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Service Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our service department, ensuring excellent customer service and efficient workflow. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards, and providing training to employees on equipment handling and servicing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a good customer service score while resolving most customer complaints within 24-48 hours.
  • Complete all preventive maintenance schedules on time to reduce breakdowns.
  • Ensure emergency repairs are responded to quickly and reduce downtime through proactive servicing.
  • Conduct training for employees on equipment handling and servicing.
  • Ensure a high safety and hygiene standard in all service operations.
  • Monitor individual and team performance against set goals.
  • Optimize spare parts inventory, ensuring an availability rate of most essential parts.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent qualification
  • 3-5 Years related experience
  • Syspro knowledge would be an advantage
  • Experience in operations, and supervisor roles
  • Knowledge of catering or commercial kitchen equipment is a strong advantage
