About the Role

Our client, a 5-star Luxury Beach Lodge in Cape Town City Centre, is seeking a dynamic Senior Management Couple to join their team. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily lodge operations and ensuring seamless guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily lodge operations to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Manage and train staff across departments, fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Handle guest relations, including resolving queries and ensuring personalized service.
  • Coordinate logistics such as transfers, activity scheduling and guest itineraries.
  • Monitor budgets, stock control, and procurement to maintain cost efficiency.
  • Maintain property standards, including facilities, vehicles and equipment.
  • Prepare and submit operational and HR reports to senior management.
  • Drive marketing and guest engagement initiatives to enhance brand reputation.
  • Uphold company values and represent company professionally at all times.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years experience in 5-star properties.
  • Own transport with a valid driver’s license (essential).
  • HIM: FGASA Level 1 Marine (or Level 1 with Marine to be completed within 6 months of employment) – All guiding qualifications must be up to date and valid.
  • First Aid Level 1.
  • Valid PDP.

  • HIM: No additional qualifications mentioned.

Salary & Benefits

  • Accommodation (couple only, no children or pets).
  • Food allowance.
  • Work cycle: 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off.
  • Uniform provided.
  • Provident fund (after 3 months).
  • 13th cheque (dependent on company performance).
