An innovative Engineering Consulting Firm is looking for an Electrical Technologist to join their team in Cape Town.

Key responsibilities:

• Attend site meetings and conduct inspections
• Design, install and maintain electrical control and communication systems
• Troubleshooting project issues and providing solutions as they occur
• Test, calibrate and repair electrical equipment and systems
• Liaising with relevant team members, directors and applicable contractors/subcontractors
• Administrative tasks related to project reporting, safety assessments, material/supply purchasing, sign-offs
• Plan project timelines, material and budget estimates
• Ability to check and inspect constructed works for compliance to design and specifications
• Preparation of cost estimates and cost reports

Key requirements:

• Relevant Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• 5-10 years experience in a similar role
• ECSA Registered
• Proficient in MS Office, MS Projects, AutoCAD, Revit MEP
