Job Description

An innovative Engineering Consulting Firm is looking for an Electrical Technologist to join their team in Cape Town.

Key responsibilities:

Attend site meetings and conduct inspections
Design, install and maintain electrical control and communication systems
Troubleshooting project issues and providing solutions as they occur
Test, calibrate and repair electrical equipment and systems
Liaising with relevant team members, directors and applicable contractors/subcontractors
Administrative tasks related to project reporting, safety assessments, material/supply purchasing, sign-offs
Plan project timelines, material and budget estimates
Ability to check and inspect constructed works for compliance to design and specifications
Preparation of cost estimates and cost reports

Key requirements:

Relevant Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering
5-10 years experience in a similar role
ECSA Registered
Proficient in MS Office, MS Projects, AutoCAD, Revit MEP
