About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our client’s team as a Junior Workshop Controller in Cape Town. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the efficiency and productivity of our workshop operations, working closely with the team to ensure seamless workflow and timely project completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate the accuracy of data and information within the workshop environment.
- Capture daily activities, including but not limited to work orders, job progress, and inventory levels.
- Monitor information within the workshop to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.
- Conduct bulk data capturing for various workshop-related activities.
- Manage stock transactions and monitor inventory levels to support production requirements.
- Collaborate with workshop staff to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to deadlines.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance workshop efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to address any issues or concerns.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Matric certificate or equivalent educational qualification.
- Self-motivated individual with a strong sense of accountability and attention to detail.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Production-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
