We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at a prominent private hospital in the Middle East. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning and safety of hospital facilities and equipment.

Responsibilities:

1. Routine Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of hospital facilities, including electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, medical gas systems, and other building infrastructure.
2. Emergency Response: Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations to address issues and minimize disruptions to hospital operations.
3. Equipment Repair: Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions, including medical equipment, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
4. Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations and hospital policies to maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
5. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
6. Collaboration: Collaborate with other maintenance staff, engineers, and hospital personnel to coordinate maintenance activities and support seamless operations across departments.
7. Training and Support: Provide training and support to hospital staff on maintenance procedures, equipment operation, and safety protocols as needed.
8. Provide training and technical support to hospital staff on mechanical systems, equipment operation, and safety protocols.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical training in maintenance or a related field preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician, with specific experience in the hospital or healthcare sector preferred.
3. Knowledge of maintenance techniques and procedures for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and medical equipment.
4. Familiarity with safety regulations and standards applicable to healthcare facilities.
5. Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
7. Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and on-call as needed.
