We are seeking a Pricing Specialist to join our client’s dynamic team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pricing strategy and analysis, with a focus on maximizing profitability and driving business growth through effective pricing decisions. This role will report to the Pricing Manager and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement pricing strategies that align with the company’s overall business objectives.

Responsibilities:

– Develop and implement pricing strategies that drive profitability and revenue growth
– Conduct competitive pricing analysis to identify market trends and opportunities
– Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to optimize pricing for different customer segments
– Monitor and analyze pricing performance to identify opportunities for improvement
– Communicate pricing recommendations and insights to key stakeholders
– Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in pricing strategy

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field
– Minimum of 3 years of experience in pricing analysis or strategy
– Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools
– Excellent communication and presentation skills
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
– Experience in the retail or consumer goods industry is a plus
